Ernie Sheldon was born on January 24, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He was a composer, known for Licorice Pizza (2021), A Dandy in Aspic (1968) and Brother John (1971). He died on August 27, 2023 in Palo Alto, California, USA.

Was briefly a member of the singing group The Limeliters, following the departure of original member Glenn Yarbrough in the 1960s.
