E. Lloyd Sheldon was born on 27 May 1886 in Springfield, Massachusetts, USA. He was a writer and producer, known for Bride 13 (1920), When a Woman Sins (1918) and Beyond the Blue Horizon (1942). He was married to Fanny Franks. He died on 24 January 1957 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

He has a son, Theodore Dwight Sheldon, with his wife, Fanny.

He is credited as the Associate Producer on the shooting script for Island Of Lost Souls. He does not receive any on screen credit in the film itself.
