Biography

Dean Shek was born on June 17, 1949 in Beijing, China. He was an actor and producer, known for A Better Tomorrow II (1987), Drunken Master (1978) and Chu jia ren (1975). He was married to Lau Chun-yue. He died on October 31, 2021 in Hong Kong.

Often plays characters with a very distinctive appearance, whether it be an enormous mole, unusual facial hair or a band aide on his head.

Frequently plays very nasty but also very silly and effeminate characters who are too pathetic to be killed by the protagonist(s).
