- Monti Sharp is an Emmy Award-winning actor and visual artist based in Los Angeles. A native of Monroe, Louisiana, he trained at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and began his career in New York, performing off-Broadway and at regional theaters including The Public Theater, the Guthrie, and Arena Stage.
He has appeared in films such as Dead Presidents and Get Smart, and on television in NYPD Blue, 24, Prison Break, and Modern Family. His work in daytime drama earned him a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series.
In addition to his work on screen, Sharp maintains an active studio practice, creating paintings and drawings that explore structure, symbolism, and identity. His work is held in public and private collections across the United States.
