Lesley Sharp was born on 3 April 1960 in Manchester, England, UK. She is an actress and director, known for Naked (1993), The Full Monty (1997) and Afterlife (2005). She has been married to Nicholas Gleaves since February 1994. They have two children.

Grew up in Formby, which is north of Liverpool

Graduated from Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1982.
