According to Ken himself, he lived in cars, and was abandoned as a child. This was also included in his character in the WWF.

At Wrestlemania 13, Ken was the special guest referee for the "I Quit" match between Bret Hart and Steve Austin.

In March 2002, the WWF talked about bringing in Shamrock for a short-term program with Kurt Angle. The deal fell apart when the WWF wouldn't give Shamrock the easy schedule they have given to Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.

Broke his neck while wrestling in his senior year of high school. Had surgery, which removed a bone chip from his hip and fused it into his neck. The doctor told Ken that he'd never be able to play sports again. Ken proved him wrong.

Lost to Royce Gracie in UFC 1. On April 7, 1995, at UFC 5: Return Of The Beast, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Shamrock got his rematch with Gracie in the first ever super fight. The bout lasted over 35 minutes and was declared a draw. Most agree if there had been judges, Shamrock would have been declared the winner.

Currently holds a 26-12-2 mixed martial arts record. He is scheduled to make his comeback at Heavyweight in March 2008.
