Biography

Viju Shah was born on June 5, 1959. He is a composer and actor, known for Gupt: The Hidden Truth (1997), Andaz Apna Apna (1994) and Mohra (1994).

Son of music composer Kalyanji of Kalyanji Anandji fame.

Daughter named Priyal Viju Shah who is studying in New York.

Fractal Attraction album by JCRZ sampled his background music from a old movie. The song's name was "The Bollywood Revenge".

His cousin,music arranger Deepak Shah, helped world famous DJ Dan The Automater produce 2 international album's. Dan used old Kalyanji Anandji background and title music from films and produced the international album's "Bombay The Hardway" and "Bombay 2 -Electric Vindaloo". Most of the material used was released and unreleased music from Qurbani, Yudh, Jaanbaz, Purab Pacchim, Bombay 405 Miles,Vidhaata etc.

Elder brothers are Chandrakant, Ramesh, Dinesh and a younger brother Rajesh.
