Biography

Robert Shacklady is a creative, versatile and practical cinematographer. He has developed his skills over the years, working his way up through the ranks on a wide variety of Feature Films (Casino Royale, Entrapment, Star Wars Episode One - The Phantom Menace) TV Dramas (BBC, Lionsgate), Commercials (BMW, AUDI, JAGUAR, CITROËN, and fashion brand Boohoo), Pop Promos and Documentaries working all over the world. He's able to combine technical experience with creative expression to every project. His films and commercials have won various awards and nominations.

This wide portfolio of work has provided him with a diverse range of experience that includes Blue / Green Screen, 3D, Motion Capture, Motion Control, 360, Underwater and Aerial photography.

Robert was chosen to shoot Keanu Reeves proof of concept tests for Keanu's Directorial debut Man of Tai Chi. Over his career Robert has worked with many other A-List stars including Al Pacino, Tom Hardy, Leonardo DiCaprio, Gillian Anderson, Naomi Watts and Daniel Craig.

Robert is a member of GBCT (Guild of British Camera Technicians) and a voting member of BAFTA.
