Biography

Michael Shaara was born on June 23, 1929 in Jersey City, New Jersey, USA. Michael was a writer, known for For Love of the Game (1999), Gettysburg (1993) and Schlitz Playhouse (1951). Michael was married to Helen Elizabeth Krumwiede. Michael died on May 5, 1988 in Tallahassee, Florida, USA.

Won a Pulitzer Prize in 1975 for his novel "The Killer Angels."

Father of Jeff Shaara.
