- Jeff Severson was born in Fargo, North Dakota. He is a retired actor, sports analyst and football player who played for the Washington Redskins, the St. Louis Cardinals, the Houston Oilers, the Denver Broncos and the Los Angeles Rams (now known as the Los Angeles Chargers).
He also appeared on TV shows such as Laverne and Shirley, Hotel, and Lou Grant, and had a supporting role in the Robin Williams film The Best of Times, which was released in 1986 and also featured Kurt Russell as part of its cast.
Severson was, at one point, romantically linked to former Three’s Company star Jenilee Harrison, whom he met when she worked as a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Rams in the late 1970s. Although the two never married, they did appear together on the CBS game show Tattletales in 1983.
