Ricardo Severo

Ricardo Severo is a composer and music producer. Recognized by specialized critics and theater and film professionals, he has already been awarded 20 times for his music tracks, including a Kikito Award at the Gramado Film Festival in 1995 with Carlos Gerbase's Deus Ex Machina. In TV, he created instrumental tracks for the soap operas "Jóia Rara" and "Além do Horizonte" for TV Globo. He is the author of children's musicals "Caçadores de Aventuras" (Adventure Hunters), created especially for the Halarde Theater Company, and "Ópera Monstra" (Monster Opera), written especially for Cia. Teatro di Stravaganza. He is one of the artists-trainers of the Soundproofing for Theater Course at SP Escola de Teatro, and some of his latest works are the soundtracks: For the plays "Caros Ouvintes" (Dear Listeners) (Shell Award for Best Music Theater in 2014), "Pergunte ao Tempo" (Ask Time) and "La Estupidez" (The Stupidity), directed by Otavio Martins; "Os Monólogos da Vagina" (The Vagina Monologues), directed by Miguel Falabella; "Dias de Vinho e Rosas" (Days of Wine and Roses) (nominated for the Shell Award for Best Music for Theater in 2015, where he works in partnership with Egberto Gismonti), directed by Fábio Assunção; "Histeria" (Hysteria), "Troilo e Céssida" (Troilus and Cressida), and "Três Dias de Chuva" (Three Days of Rain) (the last one working in partnership with Eduardo Queiroz), directed by Jô Soares; "A Reação" (The Reaction), directed by Clara Carvalho; "Consertando Frank" (Fixing Frank) and "Noites Sem Fim" (Endless Nights), directed by Marco Antônio Pâmio; & #x22;Volpone" and "As Luzes do Ocaso" (The Lights of Sunset), directed by Neyde Veneziano; For the movie "Mário Wallace Simonsen" directed by Ricardo Pinto e Silva; And with songs and tracks for the original musical "Um Dez Cem Mil Inimigos do Povo" (One Ten Hundred Thousand Enemies of the People), directed by Kleber Montanheiro (music nominated for Brazil Applause Award in 2016).
