Dawn Severdia

Dawn Severdia is an Art Director and Screenwriter known for her work across feature films and high-profile commercials. Raised in California and Colorado by her parents, Robert Severdia and Sandra Schafer-Perkins, Dawn developed a passion for creativity and adventure early on, enjoying everything from snowboarding to jeeping with her three siblings. She returned to California to attend Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts with a film emphasis. Her career began with The Living Daylights (1987), a James Bond film, and quickly evolved into collaborations with some of Hollywood's biggest names. She worked alongside Oscar-winning makeup artists John Caglione Jr. & Doug Drexler on Dick Tracy (1990), and with Rob Bottin on those unforgettable seven deadly sins for David Fincher's Seven (1995). She also played a key role in the disguises for Brian De Palma's Mission: Impossible (1996). Shifting gears from feature films to commercials, Dawn began working with renowned Production Designer Jeffrey Beecroft on award-winning campaigns for major brands like Milk, DHL, and Victoria's Secret, as well as Super Bowl ads for Victoria's Secret, Audi, and Maserati. Combining her rich experience in both feature films and high-profile commercials, Dawn began channeling her creativity into the art of screenwriting.
