It must be so hard to write and direct a movie when a studio is actually paying you to do it. At least when it's your own money, you know four things. 1) Who gives a shit how it turns out 2) The actresses you hire think you're the next hottest thing anyway, so sex isn't the issue, 3) No one will see it anyway, and 4) if they do and hate it, you still might work in this town again. But then if you actually do work in this town again as a writer/director...1, 3 and 4 no longer apply.
