- Austrian operetta singer.
- Has been impresario of the Mörbisch Lake Festival since 1993.
- Born to an Austrian mother and an Italian father.
- After graduating from high school in 1951, Harald Serafin began studying medicine at his family's request, but dropped out early and studied singing instead.
- Serafin was also known to the wider Austrian public through his appearances as a judge in the second season of the TV show "Dancing Stars," which aired on ORF 1 in spring 2006. With mostly noncommittal, often meaningless comments-mostly flattering remarks directed at the respective dance couple-he skillfully played the role of the "friendly" judge, giving even weaker dance performances high marks.
