- Born in Rome to Calabrian parents, she studied in a boarding school run by nuns and at the age of twenty she decided to pursue a career as an actress. In 1975 she was given a minor role in Salon Kitty, directed by Tinto Brass, with whom she would also work five years later, in Action.
