Biography

Jonathan Sela was born on April 29, 1978 in Paris, France. He is a cinematographer and director, known for Transformers: The Last Knight (2017), Bullet Train (2022) and Law Abiding Citizen (2009). He is married to Megan Schoenbachler. They have two children.

Named one of Variety's "10 Cinematographers to Watch" in 2009.

Interned with cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond.

Graduated from the American Film Institute.

Raised in Israel.
