Biography

Richard J. Sebastian is an American born actor living in Los Angeles. Richard started his career on the stage back in New England growing up in MA, VT and ME. He was born in Miami Beach Florida but was whisked off to New England to be raised. He grew up on the stage. He was voted most dramatic in his home town at Winslow High School in Winslow, Maine. He won a Kennedy Center honor while attending the University of Southern Maine while earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre. He was involved heavily in the acting side of the theatre arts program and was a member of the Russell Square Players and Pioneer Playhouse. He was also a member of The Waterville Summer Music Theatre, Waterville Repertory Company and the Waterville Players. Theatre really is Richard's passion. Richard arrived in Los Angeles in 1986 as an actor. He worked so much and was Taft Hartleyed into SAG and AFTRA involved in television, movies, print work and commercials. Just a few of the people Richard has had the pleasure of working with over the years include Whoopi Goldberg, Sam Elliott, Ed Azner, Angela Lansbury,Garry Shandling, Gilda Radner, Clint Eastwood, Olivia Wilde, Chris Pine, Danny Thomas, Marlo Thomas, Diane Keaton, Jack Nicholson, Chris Colfer, Mathew Morrison, Joel Mchale, Chevy Chase to name a few. Richard And Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson from Little House On The Prairie) created and perform together "The Nasty Nellie Oleson Tour" in Hollywood, CA where Alison grew up.

Richard got his first starring role in a film in 1989 called Dream A Little Evil along side Lyle Waggoner where he plays George. A student who gets into all sorts of crazy mischief with his friend Billy in the film. Lyle played a character called "Death". A dramedy if ever there was.

Richard after meeting Danny Thomas and his wife Rose Marie Thomas through a friend of his, got heavily involved with fund raising for St. Jude Children's Cancer Research Hospital. He also helps raise money for the American Diabetes Association and Aids research. He is also a big animal rights activist and has three dogs he has rescued at home.
