In February 1998, the Los Angeles Times reported that he had signed a seven-figure, five-picture deal with Miracle Entertainment (then known as First Miracle Films). These movies never came to fruition.

Kentaro went to school with Producer / Writer Arthur L. Bernstein at Brewster Academy. They played on the same basketball team and performed talent shows that ultimately won. Kentaro actually threw Bernstein across the room using his aikido techniques.
