Stephen Martines was born on July 23, 1975 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for Burn Notice (2007), The Vampire Diaries (2009) and The Closer (2005).

Played saxophone in his high school jazz band in St. Louis.

His grandmother danced on Broadways with Rosemary Clooney.

After years of using the professional moniker Coltin Scott, the actor (who has also been credited as Coltin Scott Martines) has opted to use his given name of Stephen Martines in his acting roles.
