Emmerich Schäffer(1931-1999)

Emmerich Schäffer was a famous Romanian film and theater actor. He made his film debut in Padurea Spanzuratilor (1965). Other notable roles are in Tunelul (1966), Mihai Viteazul (1971), Un comisar acuza (1973) and in the TV mini series Der Seewolf (1971). In 1967 he was awarded the 5th class Order of Cultural Merit. In the 1970s he married Adela Marculescu. In 1977 he settled in Germany, where he continued his acting career. He died in May 1999 in München, Germany.
