Biography

Linda Schuyler is known for Degrassi: The Next Generation (2001), Degrassi High (1987) and Degrassi: Next Class (2016). She has been married to Stephen Stohn since 1995. They have one child.

She was awarded the C.M. (Member of the Order of Canada) on October 27,1993, Invested on February 16, 1994 from the Canadian Governor General. She has brought credibility and respect to Canadian programming with her multi-award-winning television series Degrassi Junior High. Her candid productions of real life dramas have touched millions of viewers around the world, encouraging them to contact outreach programs and opening lines of communication between adults and youth. She lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

She co-created with Kit Hood the famous teen TV series Degrassi and was at the helm for its different forms.
