  • David Schultz is best known for his cinematography on Benjamin Quabeck’s award-winning feature films *Nichts bereuen* and *Verschwende deine Jugend*. He collaborated with director Sven Taddicken on projects including the feature film *Berlin 1. Mai*. He received a nomination for the German Cinematography Award for his sensitive camerawork on director Damir Lukacevic’s feature film *Heimkehr*. Schultz also demonstrated his great versatility as a cinematographer through his long-standing collaboration with animator and successful screenwriter Daniel Nocke; their joint feature-length film *Der Peitschenmeister* won numerous awards, including the Adolf Grimme Award. He also garnered significant international attention for his intensive cinematography on countless projects by filmmaker and artist John Bock (such as *Hells Bells* and *Unheil*). His latest film, *The Lighthouse Keeper* by director Andy Kaiser, is on its festival journey around the world.
