He was a producer and actor, known for Broadway Danny Rose (1984), 'Master Harold'... and the Boys (1985) and American Playhouse (1980). He was married to Patricia Miller. He died on 25 November 2008 in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA.

Schoenfeld is a lawyer and one of Broadway&#39;s most important power
brokers, as chairman of the Shubert theater organization.

Born and raised in New York City, to Fannie (Barnett) and Samuel Schoenfeld, who manufactured fur coats. His father was an Austrian Jewish immigrant, and his mother was born in New York, to Russian Jewish parents.
