- Otto Schmöle was born on February 23, 1890 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He was an actor, known for Wilhelm Tell (1956), Franz Schuberts letzte Liebe (1926) and The Last Ten Days (1955). He died on April 12, 1968 in Mondsee, Austria.
- The transition to the sound film was no problem for the experienced stage actor and he impersonated roles in the productions "Lumpenkavaliere" (1932), "Leinen aus Irland" (1939) and "Wen die Götter lieben" (1942).
- He continued his film career as a support actor after World War II and he appeared regular in front of the camera in the next years.
- He became established as a stage actor in Mannheim before his career became interrupted by World War I and he had to serve as a soldier.
