Biography

Hans Schlenck was born on March 14, 1901 in Bischofsheim an der Rhön, Bavaria, Germany. He was an actor, known for Abschiedswalzer (1934), Schloß Hubertus (1934) and Liebe kann lügen (1937). He died on November 13, 1944 in near Dormánd, Heves, Hungary.

German supporting actor, stage director and dramatist. During the 1930's and 40's, he was appointed to executive positions as theatre director in Oldenburg and Breslau. Conscripted for military service, he was killed in action during the battle for Hungary in November 1944.

He only took part in two more movies during wartime.

The actor Hans Schlenck appeared from 1932 for the first time in movies when he impersonated the role of the Adjutant in the production "Kreuzer Emden" (1932). In the next years followed other movies but he found his main activity at the theater.
