Julia grew up in Chicago, Il. She studied Fine Arts most of her life including at the prestigious Art Institute of Chicago. She moved to California in the 80's to pursue her love of Art, studying with many contemporary Northern California artists. While in Northern California, Julia realized that film was her true passion, and turned her sights on Costume Design. She has been successfully employed in her field for over 30 years. Julia resides in Southern California with her Husband and son.
