Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Having spent years living overseas in Scotland, Spain, Japan and Australia, Toronto-based producer Paul Scherzer is naturally drawn to international co-productions. Since founding Six Island Productions in 2000, Paul has produced award-winning feature films, documentaries and television series that have screened at festivals from Toronto to Cannes, Berlin to Busan, and sold worldwide. Prior to launching Six Island, Paul worked at Telefilm Canada and the National Film Board of Canada. He is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre, a TIFF Studio alumnus, and a member of the Canadian Media Producers Association, the Canadian Academy of Cinema & Television, and ACE Producers of Europe.
