Biography

Martin Schenkel was born on April 25, 1968 in Basel, Basel-Stadt, Switzerland. He was an actor, known for Fascht e Familie (1994), Lüthi und Blanc (1999) and Nordrand (1999). He died on March 26, 2003 in Zermatt, Valais, Switzerland.

He was also a singer and released two albums ("The Shell" (1997)) and "My Own Way" (2000)). In 1999, he sang the Theme from Lüthi und Blanc (1999). He also performed as supporting act of Roxette.

His role as Flip in Charles Lewinsky 's Sitcom Fascht e Familie (1994) made him loved in Switzerland.

He is buried in the Ritterhauskapelle (Knight-house-chapel) in Stäfa, Canton Zurich, Switzerland
