Laurel Schaefer was born in 1950 in Bexley, Ohio, USA. She is an actress, known for Quantum Leap (1989), The Rockford Files (1974) and A Brand New Life (1989). She has been married to Michael Bozoukoff since 2 May 2015. She was previously married to John Miles Lurie.

Graduated from Ohio University receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in June, 1971. Three months later, she became Miss America.

Owner of Schaefer Consultants, a personal imaging, career consulting and grant-writing enterprise.
