Biography

Jane Scali is one of Australia’s most accomplished and celebrated performers, recognised with eight Mo Awards for Best Female Vocal Performer of the Year. She first rose to prominence at just 11 years of age as an original cast member of the iconic television program Young Talent Time, quickly becoming a household name.

Across her career, Jane has been a regular presence on Australia’s leading variety programs, including The Midday Show, Roy & HG’s Club Buggery, Good Morning Australia, In Melbourne Tonight and Carols by Candlelight. Her extensive body of television work has cemented her reputation as one of the country’s most popular and versatile entertainers.

A highly skilled singer, dancer and actor, Jane has performed in numerous musicals and stage productions. Highlights include the lead role opposite Noel Ferrier in the Melbourne Theatre Company’s Cinderella, and selection as one of only three Australians to appear in the Gordon Frost Organisation’s production of the Broadway hit Smokey Joe’s Cafe.

In 1998, Jane starred as Sandy in Grease - The Arena Spectacular, performing to more than half a million people throughout Australia and New Zealand alongside Anthony Warlow, Craig McLachlan, Dannii Minogue and Doug Parkinson. She has also performed with international music legend Neil Sedaka on the Hilton Hotel circuit.

Jane is in high demand for major live events, having performed the National Anthem before 97,000 people at the Melbourne Cricket Ground for the World Cup Soccer and the Bledisloe Cup. She has also appeared at the AFL Grand Final and the official opening of Stadium Australia.

Her corporate performance career spans Australia, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Singapore, Hong Kong, Greece and Japan, where her vocal strength, stagecraft and professionalism have made her a standout performer across diverse international audiences.
