Biography

Tatyana Sazonova is a Soviet artist-director of animated films, animator, illustrator of children's books, editor.

Sazonova was born in Moscow, Soviet Union. In 1951 she graduated from VGIK. In 1952-1960 she was an assistant to the art director. In 1961-1986, Tatyana Sazonova was the art director of "Soyuzmultfilm". She worked in cartoon animation in the films of directors: Leonid Amalrik (paired with Nadezhda Privalova) and Yuriy Prytkov. Sazonova used to be the Illustrator of children's books. She passed away in Moscow on November 11, 2011.
