He was arrested in May, 2007, for using a stolen credit card and other forms of identification to buy a notebook computer and a flat-screen TV. The card and ID's belonged to an assistant police chief at Grapevine, Texas, where Saxx worked as a medical technician. The victim had just passed away at the time. March 2008, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years in prison and fined $8,000.
