- I really, really think the right heartfelt movie with good characters and just people talking has a niche in today's market of special effects. It's just become a tough place to hit. ...But it still happens...
- On The Silence of the Lambs (1991): Doing the '92 awards circuit was fun. We'd been to the Golden Globes and only won Best Actress, so we weren't going into the Oscars as the obvious favorite, but as the night went on -- Best Picture being last -- there were some very pleasant surprises!
