Warren Sawyer was born on 4 August 1877 in Ohio, USA. He was an actor, known for Broncho Billy and the Claim Jumpers (1915), After Midnight (1915) and Sophie Changes Her Mind (1915). He was married to Eva Sawyer James. He died on 11 April 1952 in San Leandro, California, USA.

Prior to working for the Essanay studio at Niles, he was a stagehand at the Orpheum and Ye Liberty theaters in Oakland, California.
