Biography

Alfred Savoir was born on January 23, 1883 in Lódz, Poland, Russian Empire [now Lódz, Lódzkie, Poland]. He was a writer, known for Bluebeard's Eighth Wife (1938), Dressed to Thrill (1935) and Here Is My Heart (1934). He was married to Michalina Hertz and Suzanne Vilboeuf. He died on June 26, 1934 in Paris, France.

Earned a law degree from the University of Montpellier.

Remembered for the play "Le Petite Catherine".

In 1927 he formed a council of authors with Frederick Lonsdale and Owen Davis for the purpose of developing original screenplays.
