Biography

Jason Saville, born and raised in Los Angeles, graduated Hollywood High School where he was Editor-in-Chief on the school's award-winning news-magazine. At University of California, Santa Cruz, he earned a Bachelors Degree in Modern Society and Social Thought while serving as an R.A., peer advisor and events coordinator. Later, he traveled in Japan for six months before returning to UCLA for graduate studies at the School of Theater, Film and Television. Jason began working on independent films, commercials and music videos before completing the Directors Guild of America Training Program. He qualified as an Assistant Director and, later, Production Manager and worked on productions of all scopes and sizes in New York, Las Vegas, Florida, the Carolinas and Los Angeles. While working on the TV series "Seinfeld," he won a DGA Award for Outstanding Achievement as an Assistant Director. Later, Jason was hired by the Walt Disney Company to serve as Vice-President of Production for Touchstone Television where responsibilities included oversight of the studio's prime-time pilot and series television production for three seasons. In 2018, he joined Sony Pictures Television as VP Production. Jason has worked on productions for major studios, streaming platforms, broadcast networks, cable and independent companies in all formats including feature films, movies-for-television, episodic series and multi-camera shows in a variety of locations in the US and Canada.
