A UK based character actor of 30-odd years experience in regional theatre, West End productions, national tours, films and hundreds of television programme's ranging from prestigious television drama plays, drama series, comedy-drama series, situation comedy series, narrations, voice-overs and commercials. Mike Savage is a founder member of XED Film & Television Associates. A script/screenplay development company set up in the UK by award winnding documentary producer/director, Allan Bardsley. XED's brief is to research, develop and write new ideas for television documentaries, also television and film drama. XED have recently sold the feature film rights to a movie project which Mike and Allan researched and wrote, entitled 'Close Quarters' - a film that tells the true story of some extraordinay events which occured during the First World War in Nortnern France. Robert Carlisle, subject to contract, has expressed a keen interest in playing the lead. Completion funding is now being sought by producer Bill Shepherd, based at Shepperton Film Studios.
