Biography

Henri Sauguet was born on May 18, 1901 in Bordeaux, Gironde, France. He was a composer and actor, known for Les compagnons de Baal (1968), Between Eleven and Midnight (1949) and Don Juan (1956). He died on June 22, 1989 in Paris, France.

He took his pen name in homage to his mother's last name. He was the long time companion of stage designer Jacques Dupont (1909-1978).
