Biography

Saud is a Pakistani film and TV actor who has worked in over 150 films since 1993. He was born as Saud Qasmi and adopted his professional name simply as Saud. He began his professional career in Pakistani film "Gunah (1993)" ( film director' Pervez Kalim') and was not really well-known until the success of renowned film director Syed Noor 's hit film Hawain (1996).His other prominent movies include Miss Istanbul (1996) , Chor Machaye Shor (1996), Jannat Ki Talash (1999), Kelona (1996), Salakhain (2004), Majajan (2006) and Tarap (2006). Lately, Saud has shifted to doing TV sitcom dramas and TV drama serials. He married a fellow TV and film actress Javeria Jalil on 25 December 2005 and his wife Javeria Jalil became known as Javeria Saud after their marriage. The couple had a daughter named Jannat , born in 2007 and then a son born in 2011, named Ibrahim.Together, the couple also started a TV production company named JJS Productions. Saud also has acted in many super-hit Punjabi language films such as Badmash Gujjar (2001) , "Chaudhrani (1998)" and "Peengan (2000)". Saud won the Best Actor Award in 1996 for the film Hawain (1996).
