Biography

Jean Sarrus was born on May 11, 1945 in Puteaux, Hauts-de-Seine, France. He was an actor and writer, known for Le retour des Charlots (1992), Bons baisers de Hong-Kong (1975) and Les quatre Charlots mousquetaires (1974). He was married to Janet Woollacott and Aimée Mortimer. He died on February 19, 2025 in Civrieux, Ain, France.

He became known to the general public with parodies and slay songs, before launching on the big screen.

People know him best as a member of the legendary band Les Charlots.
