Charlie Sapadin is a writer-producer with over 200 hours of television to his credit. While based in South Africa from 2002-2015, he wrote for 7 top rated and critically acclaimed prime time dramas, 3 of which as head writer / show-runner. Reaching audiences of over 3.5 million each week nationally and many millions more in syndication across Africa and diaspora countries, Charlie's work has won multiple South African Film & Television Awards for best writing / best writing team. Additionally, he has developed and sold pitches to major broadcasters across sub-Saharan Africa.
A graduate of the USC School of Film & TV Production program, Charlie began his career as an assistant to such well known producers as Lawrence Bender and Lauren Shuler-Donner. He's also worked as an editor on numerous feature films and television dramas. He's written several action / sci-fi specs including The Void, optioned by Saban Entertainment.
Charlie now lives in Los Angeles, focused on writing and developing content for US and international markets.
