- Carlos Santos was born in 1871 in Portugal. He was an actor and director, known for Rainha Depois de Morta Inês de Castro (1910) and A Rosa do Adro (1919). He died on August 11, 1949 in Portugal.
- Stepson of famous stage and film actor Eduardo Brazão, he had the reputation for being one of the most cultured persons of his day, and became a celebrity as actor in Companhia do Teatro Nacional, the Portuguese official company of dramatic art.
