- Anton Sanko is a New York-born composer and music producer based in Los Angeles who has been scoring film and television since 1991.
His film credits include Rabbit Hole (Academy Award shortlist for Best Original Score), The Half of It, Fractured, The Seagull, Ouija, and The Possession. He is a two-time César Award nominee for his collaborations with director Mikhaël Hers on Amanda (2019) and Les Passagers de la Nuit (2023).
For television, Sanko has composed for The Romanoffs, Siren, Big Love, and Alpha House. He won a News & Documentary Emmy Award for Great Migrations and received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Music Composition for Ring of Fire, along with an additional News & Documentary Emmy nomination for E.O. Wilson - Of Ants and Men.
He began his film career when Jonathan Demme-whom he met while playing with Suzanne Vega-invited him to score the documentary Cousin Bobby.
