Camillia Monet is an American actress, writer, and producer known for her work in 'War of the Worlds (2005)', 'The Shield (2002)' and the 'Untitled Camillia Monet Project (2015)'. She is a graduate of The Yale School of Drama and is the Founder and CEO of 'Esperanza Productions [US]'.

A graduate of The Yale School Of Drama. Camillia worked extensively as an actor in theaters across the country and abroad including acclaimed Off- Broadway and Broadway productions. In 2000 she moved to Los Angeles and landed recurring roles in Award Winning TV series shows FX's Drama " The Shield", Saving Grace, CBS's Cold Case and many others. She made her Blockbuster feature film debut in an impressive cameo performance playing opposite Toby McGuire in Seabiscuit, directed by Gary Ross. She would "hit it out of the park" as one critic described her performance playing the role of the news reporter opposite Tom Cruise in War Of The Worlds directed by Stephen Spielberg. Never one to rest on her laurels, Camillia launched an all female production company located at Paramount Studios for over a decade, producing Award winning Commercials, independent feature films, short form content , setting up & selling several TV projects at various Networks in the US and abroad. Camillia is also known as the acting coach with the game changing "superpower"- behind award winning performances amongst her impressive list of acting clients currently on hit television series for Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Apple+, ABC, STARZ , FX , and most recently, adding Channel 4 (UKTV) & CBC TV series to her roster.
