Biography

I earned 13 NY-Emmys through my work at CUNY TV, creating stories rooted in Latino communities, ecology, and disability culture. A mother, a disabled filmmaker, and a Disability Studies scholar, my practice is grounded in lived experience and a commitment to anti-ableist storytelling and education. I’m a Mexican visual storyteller, TV producer, disability activist, and Voz (voice-led meditation) practitioner based in NYC.
