Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Actor Casey Sander has been a seasoned Hollywood veteran for over thirty years, since moving to Los Angeles from Washington State. Sander started his career doing comedy with The Groundlings. Since then, he has been seen in over 300 episodes of television shows, 25 movies of the week, 18 feature films and countless commercials, both in front of the camera and as a voice over artist as well. Sander may be best known as a series regular on Home Improvement and Grace Under Fire, where in 1993, he won a People's Choice Award for "Best New Comedy" as a regular cast member. He also had a pivotal leading role as Capt. Dan Gruber in "16 Blocks" and was 5th billed. An ex-professional baseball player in the California Angels organization and college football player at The University of Puget Sound, Mr. Sander has used his athletic background and acting fame to co-sponsor celebrity/sport charity events that have donated more than one million dollars to Cancer research. Sander has recently been a major recurring character on The Big Bang Theory, Sons of Anarchy, Justified and The Middle and Guest Starred on some of TV's hottest shows such as: Silicon Valley, NCIS Los Angeles, Mad Men, The Mentalist, CSI: NY, Harry's Law, The Glades, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Rules of Engagement, etc... Casey recently got off of a 20 episode series for Nickelodeon.

After his baseball ending eye injury, Casey attended the University of Puget Sound where he played football through 1978.

Played Minor League Baseball in the Angels organization with teams in
Idaho and Iowa before injuries caused him to be released.

Gave up a Football scholarship to the University of Washington and
Washington State University to pursue his dream to be a Major League Baseball
player.

Sander was up for an EMMY in 2016 for his memorable Guest Star performance in &quot;Grey&#39;s Anatomy&quot;.

Sander has known his talent manager, <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm3101005/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Gigi Garner</a>, daughter of Hollywood icon <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0001258/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">James Garner</a>, for 30 years.

<a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0439781/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Richard Karn</a> and Casey attended Nathan Eckstein Junior High in Seattle
together, though Richard was a year behind. Casey found this out while
on the set of <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt0101120/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Home Improvement (1991)</a> when Richard told him.

Has played a police officer on three sitcoms: <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt0098800/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990)</a>, <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt0106017/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Grace Under Fire (1993)</a>, and <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/title/tt0898266/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">The Big Bang Theory (2007)</a>.
