Darrell Sandeen was born on July 13, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He was an actor and producer, known for L.A. Confidential (1997), Pervert! (2005) and The Education of a Vampire (2001). He died on January 26, 2009 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Longtime member of the Musical Theatre Guild company in Los Angeles.

Heavy-set, tough-looking American character actor, from the New York stage. Was in the original national touring company of "My Fair Lady". Also noted as Judd in "Oklahoma". Played Big Jule in "Guys and Dolls" for President Lyndon B. Johnson at the White House. On screen, best known as the corrupt cop 'Buzz' Meeks in L.A. Confidential (1997).
