Biography

David Sancious was born on November 30, 1953 in Long Branch, New Jersey, USA. He is an actor, known for Rabbit-Proof Fence (2002), The Last Temptation of Christ (1988) and Snack Bar Budapest (1988).

He and the E Street Band (including Steve Van Zandt, Garry Tallent, Vini Lopez, Max Weinberg, Roy Bittan, Nils Lofgren, Patti Scialfa, Ernest "Boom" Carter, the late Clarence Clemons, and the late Danny Federici) were inducted into the 2012 New Jersey Hall of Fame for their services and contributions to music.

There's a lot of similarities in the way that we were raised and our childhoods - what music we were exposed to at what age, and how strongly it affected us - jazz, rock'n'roll and classical.
