She was awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit by Corazon Aquino (President of the Philippines) on June 14, 1990 for her exceptional services to the performing arts.

She was awarded Commander of the Order of Lakandula by Gloria Macapagul Arroyo (President of the Philippines) on August 14, 2007 for using her talents to benefit society and foster cultural exchange.

She was awarded the Congressional Medal of Achievement by the House of Representatives of the Philippines on August 14, 2007 for showing the extent and depth of the Filipino musical talent on the global stage.

She was awarded a star on the Eastwood City Walk of Fame in Quezon City, Philippines on December 2, 2006 for her impact on Philippine entertainment.

She was awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Live Performance at 6225 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California on September 4, 2026. Walk of Fame inductee Ming-Na Wen was a presenter at the ceremony. She became the first Pilipina singer to receive a star on the Walk of Fame located directly before the Hollywood Pantages Theatre.
