- Lyda Salmonova was born on July 14, 1889 in Prague, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary [now Czech Republic]. She was an actress, known for The Student of Prague (1913), Evinrude (1913) and Monna Vanna (1922). She was married to Paul Wegener. She died on November 18, 1968 in Prague, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic].

- After 1923 Lyda Salmonova retired from the film business and worked as an acting teacher for the UFA. Later she founded her own acting school called "Schauspielstudio Lyda Wegener".
